Just under the world famous Shandon steeple (built in 1722) and next to the Firken Crane
Art’s & Dance Centre, adjacent to the Cork Butter Museum.
To the rear, just across the river Lee (connected by 4 bridges) is the famous Cork Opera House. Cork’s vibrant shopping centre is in the same area, grandly supplying all the shopping need’s of the most discerning customer. Also in this area are some of the finest restaurant’s and hostelries to be found anywhere in the world, giving a truly international flavour to this beautiful city.

Just up river is the world famous University College of Cork (U.C.C) only 15 minute’s walk.
All of this can be seen in a fabulous panorama from the rear, which overlooks all of this right up to Cork’s International Airport (10 minute’s drive).
The house itself is of great historic interest, from being a butter distribution depot for the
Cork local area for over 150 years. It is an ideal starting point if you are intending a sight seeing tour of Cork/Kerry, we are only 50 miles (80 Kilometre) from Killarney, or just having a relaxing break to unwind in this beautiful city and kiss the Blarney stone.
